Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect will lead architectural projects from concept development through to completion, ensuring designs meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and budgetary constraints. This full‑time, onsite role is based in Lagos and requires strong design expertise and technical proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to maintain design integrity and quality.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and technical documentation for project approvals.
• Review and approve material specifications and architectural details.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior architects and design teams.
• Liaise with authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in architectural project management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project coordination and communication abilities.
• Professional certification or registration with relevant bodies is an advantage.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design software.
