Senior Site Manager (Construction & Fit‑out)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead on‑site construction and interior fit‑out projects on a flexible, call‑out basis. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction and fit‑out activities from start to completion.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and artisans to maintain smooth workflow.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, achieving milestones within agreed timelines.
• Track on‑site costs and optimise use of materials, labour, and equipment.
• Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, resolving issues promptly.
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks or delays early and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, site logs, and handover records.
• Drive quality‑control processes to minimise defects and rework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology or a related field.
• 4–10 years of site‑management experience in construction or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, interior finishing, and MEP coordination.
• Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders on‑site.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
