Head of Creative Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Creative Strategy to lead the creative engine behind large‑scale paid media for high‑growth consumer brands in Nigeria. This senior leadership position sits at the intersection of performance marketing, creative systems and creator‑driven growth, driving measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall creative strategy and performance standards across a diverse portfolio of consumer brands.
• Build, refine and operationalise creative frameworks, playbooks and SOPs based on insights from Meta, TikTok and other paid‑social channels.
• Lead and develop a team of performance creative strategists, improving their ability to diagnose issues and produce high‑converting concepts.
• Oversee end‑to‑end creative production in partnership with editing and production leads to ensure speed, quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with creator and talent teams to align briefing, production and paid‑media execution for maximum impact.
• Own creative onboarding for new clients, delivering early performance wins within the first 30 days.
• Present insights, performance analysis and strategic recommendations to clients as the senior creative authority.
• Continuously analyse performance trends to identify optimisation and scaling opportunities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in performance creative, preferably in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Proven track record of improving conversion rates, reducing CPA or driving revenue growth through creative strategy.
• Deep expertise in direct‑response marketing and paid‑social creative performance, especially on Meta and TikTok.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and team‑building abilities in high‑volume settings.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
