Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

Mixta Africa is looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to produce high-quality visual content that drives product awareness, lead generation, customer education and sales conversion across its portfolio. The role goes beyond content creation: it translates the company's commercial strategy into compelling visual storytelling about its developments, infrastructure, customers and investment proposition, across digital and offline channels. The goal is to build Mixta as a content-first real estate brand.

Key responsibilities

• Produce videos that communicate each development's value proposition, including product explainer videos, investment-focused content, customer testimonials, resident success stories and campaign videos.
• Create videos for product launches, sales campaigns, corporate partnerships, diaspora campaigns, webinars and PR initiatives.
• Plan, shoot and edit video content, including indoor and outdoor shoots, drone aerial footage (where licensed) and interviews with customers, executives and partners.
• Produce event highlight videos and construction progress updates.
• Manage production schedules, video equipment and media assets, maintain a video archive and coordinate external production vendors.
• Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, and repurpose long-form content for each platform.
• Produce content for CEO thought leadership, executive interviews, CSR initiatives, company events, internal communications and recruitment branding.

Required profile

• Certification or degree in Media, Film, Marketing or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience producing commercial and corporate video content; experience in real estate, hospitality or lifestyle is a strong advantage.
• Strong creative storytelling, visual judgement, commercial mindset, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management to handle multiple production schedules.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and CapCut (mobile-first editing)
• Professional camera systems, audio recording and lighting techniques
• DaVinci Resolve and drone operation highly preferred
