Tax Specialist & Account Receivables Supervisor

About the role

Manuchar is seeking a proactive Tax Specialist & Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join its Finance team in Nigeria. The role combines tax compliance oversight with end‑to‑end management of the AR function, supporting cash‑flow optimisation and strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage statutory tax compliance, filings and remittances (VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, etc.) and liaise with FIRS, LIRS and other authorities.
• Supervise the full accounts receivable cycle – invoicing, collections, reconciliations and customer account management.
• Monitor ageing reports, credit limits and collection performance, preparing AR, tax and cash‑flow reports for month‑end close.
• Support internal, external and tax audits and identify opportunities to strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, Treasury and other stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CITN) preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounts receivable, tax compliance or general accounting, preferably in a multinational trading or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and FIRS/LIRS regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems – Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
