Trade-In Pricing & Commercial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Trade-In Pricing & Commercial Analyst to manage device valuation, pricing and costing for our trade‑in business. The role involves using market data and financial analysis to develop pricing models that protect margins while remaining competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain pricing models and device price matrices based on brand, model, storage and condition.
• Monitor used‑device prices across secondary markets, track competitor programmes and benchmark pricing.
• Calculate total device costs, set margin thresholds and analyse the financial impact of promotions.
• Ensure pricing approvals follow limits, identify anomalies and maintain auditable records.
• Prepare regular reports on price movements, acquisition costs and margins, providing data‑backed recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in pricing, costing, commercial or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, numerical and detail‑oriented mindset with ability to meet tight timelines.
• High integrity and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pricing models, lookups, pivot tables, scenario analysis).
• Experience with Power BI, SQL or other data analytics tools (preferred).
