Finance, Business Strategy & Tax Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level finance professional to blend financial management, business analysis, strategic planning, and tax expertise. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days onsite per week in Lagos, with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, management accounts, budgets and forecasts to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, costs and overall financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Build financial models and evaluate business opportunities, projects, pricing and investment decisions.
• Analyse business performance, identify trends and recommend improvements to profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage tax computations, filings, reconciliations and ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in finance, business analysis or strategy, and taxation.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA or ACCA) and a recognised professional tax qualification (CITN).
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modelling, complex formulas, PivotTables and Power Query.
