About the role
The Social Media Management Assistant strengthens the organization's digital footprint and online engagement by managing social media channels end to end. The role covers creating and distributing content, interacting with the audience and running targeted digital initiatives, while keeping the organization's voice authentic and aligned with its brand values.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, schedule and publish high-quality content across social media channels
- Collaborate on content calendars and strategic communication roadmaps
- Produce basic visual assets such as graphics, promotional posters and short-form videos
- Monitor community interactions and respond promptly to comments and direct messages
- Support online advocacy and promote specific programs and campaigns
- Measure engagement rates, reach and follower growth, and report on campaign performance
- Follow branding standards, core values and communication policies
- Amplify visibility for events, initiatives and achievements, and research emerging digital trends
