Site Supervisor / Foreman

About the role

This position involves overseeing and directing daily on-site construction operations so that projects are carried out efficiently and in line with the established plans. It is key to keeping high standards of quality, safety and productivity while managing people and resources across the construction lifecycle. The role is based in Plateau.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and organise daily construction tasks on site.
• Assign duties to employees, skilled tradespeople and external subcontractors.
• Check that work follows blueprints, technical specifications and project schedules.
• Evaluate workmanship, materials and overall construction standards.
• Uphold health and safety protocols and site-specific regulations.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and project managers.
• Document daily progress and share site updates with senior management.
• Spot and fix problems that arise during construction.
• Make sure tools and equipment are used correctly, stored properly and maintained.
• Oversee material use to reduce waste and avoid delays.
• Inspect finished work against quality benchmarks.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors.
• Experience monitoring workmanship and enforcing quality standards.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations in construction.
• Effective communication with engineers, architects and other stakeholders.
• Ability to track progress and report accurately to management.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in site inspections.
