Piling Supervisor (Marine & Foundation Works)

About the role

The Piling Site Supervisor oversees the supervision, coordination and execution of marine piling and foundation works on site. It is a predominantly field-based role requiring continuous monitoring of construction activities, contractor performance, quality, safety and productivity. The position is open only to Nigerian nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all marine piling and foundation construction activities on site, reporting to the Piling Division Manager on progress, issues and resource needs.
• Oversee daily work across multiple fronts, contractors, subcontractors, operators and site personnel, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment use and site productivity; coordinate with the Consultant on inspections, approvals and NCR corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, monitor marine operations, lifting, rigs, cranes, barges and heavy equipment, and enforce quality requirements under approved ITPs.
• Coordinate pile testing including pile integrity testing, cross-hole sonic logging, static and dynamic load tests, bentonite tests and other foundation tests.
• Report delays, risks and technical issues to project management and maintain daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, records of manpower and equipment, and photographic records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Practical site experience in marine piling and foundation construction is essential.
• Strong email communication skills and ability to handle project-related correspondence.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• AutoCAD for reviewing, interpreting and marking up engineering drawings.
