Senior Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Accountant will oversee core accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role provides technical accounting oversight, supports financial controls, and delivers reliable information for management and project decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring timely payments, collections, and statutory filings.
• Support project cost tracking, work with project managers and quantity surveyors on cost control, and monitor project‑related expenses and revenue recognition.
• Supervise junior accountants and bookkeepers, improve accounting processes and documentation, and provide technical guidance and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field with professional certification (ICAN/ACCA).
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including senior or supervisory roles, preferably in manufacturing or project‑based organisations.
• High integrity, detail‑oriented, proactive and solution‑focused with strong work discipline.
