Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead core accounting functions for a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory and accounting standards. This role provides technical oversight, supports financial controls, and delivers reliable information for management and project decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports, maintaining accurate general ledger and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes, guaranteeing timely payments, collections, and statutory filings.
• Assist project cost tracking, work with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors on cost control, and monitor expense and revenue recognition.
• Supervise Junior Accountants and Bookkeepers, improve accounting processes, templates, and documentation, and provide technical guidance and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field with a professional accounting certification (ICAN/ACCA) required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, including senior or supervisory roles.
• Prior experience in manufacturing organisations is an advantage.
• High integrity, accountability, and a proactive, solution‑focused work discipline.
