About the role
This full-time position in Maiduguri focuses on the financial and commercial management of construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. The incumbent prepares Bills of Quantities and material schedules, analyses local market prices to set competitive quotations, monitors spending against budget and advises the Managing Director on pricing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material schedules for upcoming projects.
- Conduct market research on material costs in the Maiduguri region to prepare accurate quotations.
- Monitor project expenditures against established budgets to identify variances and prevent financial loss.
- Generate precise project valuations to facilitate timely client payments.
- Provide expert recommendations to the Managing Director on profitable pricing strategies.
