QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will support Alaro City’s fast‑growing construction projects by ensuring that all works meet the highest quality standards and comply with approved specifications, codes, and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quality planning activities with all disciplines before work starts and support execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify compliance with Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project specifications.
• Inspect construction works—including building structures, roads, earthworks, piling, concrete, reinforcement, architectural finishes, and MEP installations—to confirm adherence to approved drawings and workmanship standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, witness field and laboratory testing, and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Raise, monitor, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective action reports.
• Maintain accurate quality records, conduct audits, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and testing laboratories on all quality‑related matters.

Required profile

• Experience in construction quality assurance/control on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
