About the role
The Loan Officer will evaluate credit histories, process loan applications and support the bank’s loan and deposit mobilization efforts. This full‑time position involves direct client interaction and portfolio management in Ikeja, Lagos State.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate credit histories, documentation, and process loan applications within specified time limits.
- Recruit new loan and deposit mobilization through marketing and sales of the bank’s products and services.
- Complete loan contracts and educate clients on applicable terms and conditions.
- Maintain and update account records and perform post‑disbursement monitoring.
- Participate in market storms, community fairs and cluster marketing initiatives.
- Drive the reactivation of inactive and dormant accounts and ensure retention of existing customers.
Required profile
- B.Sc./HND or OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a loan officer in a credit or financial institution.
