Head of Cooperative Business

About the role

The financial institution is seeking a passionate market leader to head its cooperative business, driving member acquisition and overseeing all marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive member acquisition for the cooperative.
• Lead all marketing activities and promote products and services to potential members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cooperative members.
• Manage cooperative affairs including regulatory compliance and periodic meetings.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Generate diversified and sustainable revenue for stakeholders.
• Develop and manage business opportunities and implement strategies, plans, and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum first degree (BSc/HND) in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Past experience in cooperative business and operations is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of middle‑management experience with proven success.
• Strong leadership skills and an extensive industry network.
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian financial services industry.
• Highly motivated with commitment to serving customers at the bottom of the pyramid.
• Demonstrated track record in people management.
