Junior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to join our team at Quema Consulting Limited in Port Harcourt. The role offers hands‑on experience supporting senior engineers on projects within the mining, energy and metals sectors. You will work on design, analysis and documentation while developing practical engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with engineering projects and technical operations.
• Support engineering design, calculations, analysis and technical assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and project documentation.
• Contribute to project planning and execution in line with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop practical engineering solutions.

Required profile

• B.Eng./B.Sc. in Engineering with at least Second Class Upper (2:1).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and technical abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Detail‑oriented, eager to learn and support project execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
