Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Officer is responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly at Addoz Integrated Resources Limited. You will perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machines and ensure minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors and conveyors.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, control systems, sensors, switches and contactors.
• Monitor machinery condition to identify potential faults before breakdowns occur.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and modification of machinery.
• Perform electrical wiring, connections and basic control system troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs and spare‑part usage.
• Work closely with the Production team to minimise downtime and uphold safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing sectors such as flexible packaging, plastics or related industries is desirable.
• OND, HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
