Investment Manager

About the role

The Investment Manager will lead MCO Penny Limited’s investment portfolio, shaping strategies that drive returns while respecting risk limits. Based in Abuja, this full‑time, on‑site role works closely with senior leadership to align investment decisions with the company’s lending and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial and market analysis to evaluate new investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment proposals and present recommendations to management.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments.
• Manage relationships with financial partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support capital allocation decisions and develop tools to improve investment decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in investment management, portfolio management, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA or ACCA are a plus.
• Proven experience in financial services or investment management, preferably within Nigerian or African markets.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
