About the role
The HR Manager will lead the human resources function for Isabi Factcheck Africa, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives and supporting overall workforce performance.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor team productivity, targets, and overall workforce performance.
- Prepare HR reports and provide recommendations to management.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and selection processes.
- Support business management and contribute to sales/business development initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, policies and HR processes.
- Manage employee performance, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
- Develop and coordinate staff training and development programmes.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in policy formulation and performance management.
- Proficient in talent acquisition, payroll processing, and staff administration.
- Ability to set up a professional HR department, including hiring and onboarding where none exist.
