Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with Zobis Cable's business objectives. This role oversees the full HR lifecycle, from manpower planning and recruitment to performance management and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, conduct manpower planning, and maintain an up‑to‑date organisational chart and employee database.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent pipeline for technical, production, sales, administrative and managerial positions.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and liaison with trade unions while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws.
• Oversee attendance, time‑management systems, payroll preparation, compensation analysis and benefits administration.
• Drive performance management processes, including KPI setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
• Plan and coordinate training, development initiatives, succession planning and talent management for critical roles.

Required profile

• Mid‑level HR professional with at least 48 months of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to develop HR strategies, manage recruitment, and handle employee relations effectively.
