Senior Manager, Office Lead (Abuja)

About the role

IDinsight is opening a new office in Abuja and seeks a Senior Manager to lead client engagements while establishing the local presence. The role blends analytical work with office leadership, with about 70% of time on client projects and 30% on office management, especially during the first year.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, providing evidence‑based advice to senior leaders in government, NGOs, and foundations.
• Lead all phases of advisory and evaluation projects, including design, data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Mentor Associates, oversee project budgets, ensure funder compliance, and support business development in Nigeria.
• Represent IDinsight in Nigeria, supervise office administration and finance, contribute to HR decisions, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (e.g., public policy, economics, public health) or equivalent experience.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience, including managerial roles and work with Nigerian government or development sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to motivate diverse teams.
• Commitment to using data and evidence to improve social impact.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with statistical software for data analysis.
• Project management and financial budgeting abilities.
