Hotel Waitstaff (Full‑time)

About the role

The Hotel Waitstaff role at Trendy Inn is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. You will be responsible for delivering courteous and professional service to guests throughout their dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and take orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high service standards.
• Set up and clear tables, keep dining areas clean and orderly.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure guest requests are handled quickly.
• Process payments, address guest inquiries and follow hotel and food‑safety regulations.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and support colleagues during busy periods.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with courteous, professional interaction.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service, table setting and menu familiarity.
• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays or light loads safely.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
