Head of Marketing

About the role

Exam Scholars is an education technology company that helps students prepare for examinations through a CBT practice app, past questions and learning resources. It is hiring a Head of Marketing to own and coordinate marketing across the company; social media, blog and field teams already contribute, and the role sets shared direction, coordinates their work, leads campaigns and makes results measurable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the marketing strategy, plans and budget.
• Coordinate social media, content, field marketing and campaigns around shared goals.
• Plan digital campaigns that improve how students discover, download and continue using the app.
• Lead school visits, events, community outreach and partnership development.
• Set responsibilities, timelines and performance measures for marketing work.
• Track results, report insights to leadership and improve campaigns using evidence.

Required profile

• Experience leading or coordinating marketing across multiple channels.
• Strong planning, communication and team coordination skills.
• Practical digital marketing, content and social media experience.
• Offline outreach, events, partnerships or field marketing experience is an advantage.
• Ability to use performance data to guide decisions and manage a budget responsibly.
• Interest in education, technology and helping students succeed.

The position is full-time, based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with field activities as needed. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
