Finance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations at our building materials manufacturing facility in Ajaokuta. The role involves overseeing accounting, reporting, compliance and driving efficiency through digitisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, accounting processes and internal controls.
• Manage ERP‑based accounting, preferably Orion ERP.
• Monitor cash flow, collections, payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Analyse production, inventory and operational costs.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory and accounting standards.
• Develop financial policies, controls and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ICAN certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably building materials.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, financial analysis and internal controls.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Orion ERP or similar ERP accounting systems.
