Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Lekki, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. You will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations across Avetium’s portfolio companies and provide strategic financial insight to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes, prepare and review financial statements, and monitor cash flow.
• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and financial policies while ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulatory requirements.
• Support internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis and actionable recommendations to business leaders, track performance, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and management accounting.
• Experience with variance analysis, performance measurement, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior finance or finance‑leadership role, preferably within technology, BPO or related sectors.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing priorities on‑site and remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.
