Senior Investment Advisor

About the role

The Senior Investment Advisor is an experienced sales professional responsible for managing a high‑value client portfolio, driving significant assets under management (AUM) growth, and mentoring junior Investment Advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, win and manage high‑net‑worth, corporate and institutional clients.
• Achieve individual sales and AUM targets that exceed those of Investment Advisors.
• Develop tailored investment solutions and proposals aligned with client goals, risk appetite and liquidity needs.
• Lead complex sales conversations and negotiations through to closure.
• Mentor, coach and support Investment Advisors, including joint client calls and sales training.
• Contribute to the team’s sales strategy, pipeline reviews and forecasting.
• Build and maintain strategic referral relationships with partners, professional firms and community networks.
• Ensure client onboarding and transactions comply with regulatory, KYC/AML and internal policy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on sales experience in investment advisory, banking, wealth management, insurance or asset management.
• Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and the Nigerian financial markets.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with CRM tools.
