Finance Assistant

About the role

This entry-level Finance Assistant role supports the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, keeping comprehensive financial records and helping prepare for audits. It covers bank reconciliations, expense report reviews, payroll data entry and secure recordkeeping, and is described as full time.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations in line with internal financial ledgers.
• Review and verify employee expense reports against company policy.
• Assist in payroll processing through precise data entry and validation of attendance and time records.
• Maintain organized, secure and easily accessible financial documentation for audit and compliance.

Required profile

• High attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and standard financial processes.
• Ability to prioritize and handle several responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with expense reporting systems or payroll support is an advantage.
