About the role
PalmPay is hiring a Field Verification Officer to carry out on-site verification of merchants and loan applicants. The officer confirms business locations and checks the accuracy of information given during the loan application process. The role suits someone who is detail-oriented, observant and comfortable working extensively in the field.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct physical visits to verify merchant and customer locations
- Confirm the authenticity of business operations and the information provided
- Document findings and submit accurate verification reports
- Support loan processing by making sure verification timelines are met
- Escalate discrepancies or suspicious findings
Required profile
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc
- 1-2 years of experience in field verification, recovery or direct sales in a fintech or commercial bank
- Must reside in Ondo (Odigbo LGA)
- Willingness to work in the field
Required skills
- Good communication and observation skills
- Ability to follow instructions and submit accurate reports
