Express Consultant (12-Month Fixed-Term) - Rundu & Khorixas

About the role

Standard Bank Group is hiring an Express Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Rundu and Khorixas. The consultant takes requests from walk-in customers on banking matters, from product questions to account activities such as closing accounts, statements and debit order information, and delivers them accurately within the bank's financial offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and deliver against their requests.
• Identify the authenticity of the customer where required to prevent disclosure of information to unauthorised persons.
• Take ownership of every demand and give an immediate response or facilitate its completion.
• Assess the risks of each demand and follow effective controls to minimise risk.
• Order replacement credit cards and credit card PINs from the Card Division on customer request.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Commerce or a related field at NQF Level 6.
• 1-2 years of previous customer experience, including knowledge of the bank's customer service policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of the functions of other departments within the branch.
• Applicant must submit a cover letter stating their preferred duty station.
