Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, analysing and interpreting data across business functions. The role generates insights, builds reports and supports operational and strategic performance tracking. It is a full-time position based in Abuja.

Key responsibilities

• Data collection and management: extract, clean and validate data from multiple sources, maintain data integrity and accuracy, and support the development and maintenance of databases and data systems
• Data analysis and insights: analyse datasets to find trends, patterns and performance drivers, turn raw data into actionable insights and back decisions with evidence-based analysis
• Reporting and dashboards: build and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel, Power BI or Tableau, prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for stakeholders and automate reporting where possible
• Business support: work with business units on their reporting and analytics needs, support operational and strategic initiatives and explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Data quality and process improvement: fix data quality issues, recommend improvements to data collection and reporting processes and help adopt data standards and governance practices
