Business Manager - B2B Payment Gateway and SaaS

About the role

WayaLinks is a digital financial group building infrastructure that connects people, commerce and capital across Africa and beyond; its WayaQuick offering is a real-time payment gateway for ecommerce platforms, fintechs, banks and merchants. The Business Manager for B2B Payment Gateway and SaaS is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lekki with twice-a-week office presence, focused on growth, operations and partner success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key B2B relationships with ecommerce platforms, fintechs, banks and merchants
• Oversee onboarding and integration processes
• Coordinate with product and technology teams to improve gateway performance and reliability
• Analyze transaction data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Lead go-to-market initiatives and support pricing, packaging and service-level design for payment and SaaS products
• Monitor operational KPIs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology or a related field
• Strong background in B2B payment gateways, digital financial services or SaaS platforms, with experience managing merchant, fintech or enterprise client portfolios
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments and to prioritize multiple initiatives

Required skills

• Business development and account management, including relationship building, negotiation, contract management and partner lifecycle oversight
• Product and operations management, including requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, process optimization and service delivery
• Market research, financial analysis and performance reporting, with the ability to interpret transaction data
• Familiarity with payment technology, APIs, system integration and basic technical concepts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
