Store Manager - Interior Design Showroom

About the role

A premium interior design and home furnishing company is hiring a Store Manager to lead its showroom in Lekki Phase 1 and drive sales growth. The position is full-time and onsite, and suits someone who is passionate about design, focused on sales targets and comfortable dealing with premium clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve monthly and annual sales targets, turning walk-ins, leads and enquiries into paying customers
• Upsell and cross-sell furniture, decor, curtains, lighting and interior services, and follow up quotations to close deals
• Build strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, architects and real estate clients
• Keep the showroom clean, well-merchandised and visually appealing, and manage displays, price tags, stock and daily opening and closing procedures
• Deliver luxury customer service, advise clients on products and materials, and handle complaints professionally
• Supervise sales associates, cashiers and store assistants, set daily targets and review team performance
• Manage stock, run regular stock counts, liaise with warehouse and procurement, and report on sales, best-sellers, slow-movers and customer feedback

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Store Manager, Showroom Manager or Senior Sales Lead
• Proven sales experience, preferably in furniture, interior design, tiles, sanitary ware, home decor, fashion or luxury retail
• Strong understanding of sales closing, negotiation and customer relationship management
• Good taste in interior design; a degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Interior Design or a related field is an added advantage

• Proficiency in MS Excel, sales reporting and POS systems

What we offer

• Salary of 250,000 plus transport and lunch allowance
