Business Development and Partnership Officer (Associate)

About the role

An organization is looking for a motivated entry-level Business Development and Partnerships Officer (Associate) to help expand its corporate presence. The role focuses on finding new revenue streams, securing clients and building strategic alliances, and suits recent graduates or early-career professionals with zero to two years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients, business prospects and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and partnership opportunities.
• Draft business proposals, presentation decks, partnership contracts and client pitches.
• Carry out market research, analyse competitors and evaluate client needs.
• Cultivate relationships with current clients and partners to drive retention and further sales.
• Coordinate and attend client meetings, partnership discussions and networking events.
• Facilitate negotiations and deal closure under supervision.
• Track business development activities, sales data and partnership results and produce weekly performance reports.
• Work with the marketing department on campaigns and promotional assets.
• Record all business development and partnership activity accurately in the CRM or database.

Required profile

• A recent degree or equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience of 0 to 2 years.
• Passion for business expansion and relationship management.
• Ability to work well with the management team.
