Branch Manager - Microfinance

About the role

Alert Microfinance Bank is looking for a full-time, on-site Branch Manager based in Jos. The role leads branch operations and ensures excellent service delivery, supporting the bank's mission of helping micro-entrepreneurs achieve financial independence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee staff performance, manage customer relationships and supervise cash operations
• Monitor loan and deposit activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
• Analyze branch financial reports and drive business development initiatives
• Implement strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention
• Resolve customer issues and maintain high operational standards

Required profile

• Experience in branch management, retail banking or microfinance operations, with a strong understanding of credit and savings products
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• Previous experience in Jos or similar markets is beneficial
