Branch Compliance Officer

About the role
The Branch Compliance Officer will act as the primary regulator liaison for the branch, ensuring that all anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) requirements are met. The role supports the branch in interpreting and applying evolving regulations, Group policies and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely regulatory advice and recommendations to branch staff.
- Communicate AML regulations, policies and requirements clearly across the branch.
- Deliver general Customer Due Diligence (CDD) guidance and ensure compliance with KYC laws.
- Coordinate branch reviews, prepare management information and report emerging risks.
- Escalate and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring mandatory training is completed.
- Oversee governance, ensuring adherence to local, national and international laws.
- Propose and implement compliance improvements and simplifications.
- Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct in daily operations.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory requirements.
- Experience in risk identification, reporting and mitigation.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- High integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
