About the role

FairMoney is seeking a Field Recovery / Verification Officer to support loan repayment collection in Delta and Edo States. You will engage directly with defaulting customers, ensuring timely payments while maintaining professional relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits and use phone, email, and legal means to demand payments from defaulting agents and merchants.
  • Maintain a daily activity log tracking calls, contacts, promises to pay, and fulfilled promises.
  • Verify overdue arrears information and follow up daily to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements to prevent further delinquency.

Required profile

  • University degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in consumer loan operations handling delinquent clients.
  • High self‑motivation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
