Portfolio Analyst – Consumer Lending

About the role

FairMoney is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to support the Consumer Lending Risk team. You will provide portfolio analytics, monitor performance, and help identify emerging risks as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor applications, approvals, disbursements, repayments, delinquency, collections and recoveries.
• Analyse portfolio vintages and risk metrics such as first payment default, PAR, DPD, roll‑rates, cure‑rates, defaults and credit loss trends.
• Build, automate and maintain Tableau dashboards for risk and management stakeholders.
• Assess impact of credit rule changes, pricing and underwriting through cohort and vintage analysis.
• Partner with Product, Data, Engineering, Underwriting and Collections to improve data quality and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in consumer lending, fintech, retail credit or portfolio risk analytics.
• Strong understanding of consumer credit risk, vintage analysis and lending economics.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
• Strong SQL and data‑analysis skills; proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Python or another analytical language (advantageous).
