Beauty & Skincare Advisor / Digital Customer Experience Officer

About the role

Talent Spur Advisory is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing beauty and personal care brand for a Beauty & Skincare Advisor / Digital Customer Experience Officer. The role combines product advice, digital engagement, content creation and online sales conversion, and supports the brand's customer experience centre. It is an onsite position in Lekki, Lagos, Monday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on skincare, haircare and personal care needs, recommend products and educate them on ingredients, benefits and usage
• Create beauty and product content for digital platforms, including short-form videos, tutorials and captions, and support the content calendar
• Manage social media, website chat, email and WhatsApp, responding promptly and keeping a consistent brand voice
• Turn customer interactions and FAQs into content, capture feedback and track digital enquiries and sales
• Guide customers through purchases, follow up prospects and report on engagement and conversion trends
• Support the customer experience centre by welcoming walk-ins, giving product demonstrations, assisting with orders and maintaining CRM records

Required profile

• 2-3 years' experience in customer experience, beauty advisory, retail sales or digital engagement
• Knowledge of or strong interest in skincare, beauty and personal care products
• Proven experience managing social media pages and creating beauty content
• Strong communication, persuasion and sales skills; confident and professional personality
• Comfortable creating or appearing in short-form video content is an advantage
• Background in cosmetology, beauty therapy or aesthetics is an advantage; candidates living in VI, Ikoyi, Lekki and nearby areas are preferred

Required skills

• Social media management and basic digital content creation tools
• CRM tools or social media management platforms (an advantage)
