Auditor Manager

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking an experienced Auditor Manager to lead both internal and external audit engagements across its retail, fashion and FMCG operations in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for developing audit plans, supervising teams and delivering actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage audit assignments, aligning them with identified business and financial risks.
• Lead audit teams, ensure proper execution of procedures and review audit working papers.
• Evaluate financial statements, accounting records and internal controls, recommending improvements.
• Conduct financial, operational, compliance and risk‑based audits, identifying irregularities and fraud risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
• Develop and track audit budgets, timelines and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and ethical conduct.
