About the role
The Accounts Officer supports the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in reporting and compliance. The role ensures day‑to‑day accounting operations are executed efficiently and in line with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions accurately, maintain the general ledger, and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Generate and issue client invoices, process supplier invoices, and manage payables and receivables aging schedules.
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports, maintain filing systems, and provide audit support.
- Collaborate with other departments and the Finance Manager on ad‑hoc financial tasks and collection procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work reliably in a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
