Technology Intern

About the role

This entry-level position provides essential technical support to staff members so that daily operations run smoothly. It involves managing digital resources, handling hardware and software issues, managing user access and helping staff adopt new digital tools. The role also keeps accurate equipment records and follows basic data protection protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide foundational technical assistance to employees across the organization
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with computers, applications, internet connectivity and office equipment
• Create and manage user profiles and control system permissions and access levels
• Support the deployment and use of digital tools and software platforms
• Maintain logs and inventories of IT hardware and software assets
• Help implement data security measures and backup procedures
• Identify complex problems and escalate them to senior IT specialists

Required profile

• Ability to give clear, helpful technical support to non-technical staff
• Experience managing user accounts and configuring access rights
• Familiarity with deploying and supporting digital workplace tools
• Understanding of basic data security principles and backup strategies
