About the role
Bühler Group is seeking a Sales Channel Manager to lead the growth of its channel partner and reseller network across West Africa. The role will focus on expanding market share, aligning regional activities with global strategy, and driving profitable business expansion in Nigeria and neighboring countries.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities, including emerging markets, customer segments and distribution channels.
- Expand and optimise partner, reseller and distribution networks to strengthen Bühler’s market presence.
- Onboard, enable and align channel partners with Bühler’s standards and business objectives.
- Monitor partner performance and act as the primary interface between external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation and order intake.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline with CRM updates, forecasting and timely follow‑up.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Support, Technology, Service) to drive project and plant sales initiatives.
- Execute business strategies within the assigned territory to achieve defined sales and growth targets.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project sales and/or machine sales.
- Proven track record in channel partner or reseller management.
- Experience working in a global or matrix organisation.
- Strong market knowledge of Nigeria and/or the broader African region.
