Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee Vroom Trading Company's financial operations and support strategic decision‑making. This full‑time hybrid role is based in Abuja, combining on‑site work with flexible remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes, including general ledger, reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, monitor cash flow and produce regular financial reports for leadership.
• Analyze financial performance, perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights on profitability, cost control and risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure compliance with regulations and strengthen internal controls.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions and external partners, and support the creation of financial policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA) are a plus.
• Strong foundation in finance and financial services, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in auditing and internal controls review.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data and present clear recommendations.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and stakeholder communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and financial modeling.
