Maintenance Personnel (Plumbing, AC & Electrical)

About the role

Hotel Capitol, a three‑star hotel in Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is looking for a versatile Maintenance Personnel to keep its facilities running smoothly. The role combines plumbing, electrical and HVAC duties to ensure guest comfort and safety. The successful candidate will work full‑time on‑site, responding quickly to maintenance requests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform plumbing maintenance: fix leaks, unclog drains, maintain water systems.
• Carry out electrical work: repair lighting, power outlets, generators and other equipment.
• Service air‑conditioning and HVAC units, conduct routine checks and temperature control.
• Undertake general repairs on furniture, doors, locks and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Inspect and maintain fire safety systems, conduct safety checks and report issues.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and provide status updates on maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to work on‑site in Berger, Lagos and be available for full‑time shifts.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
