Front Desk Receptionist – Ikoyi, Lagos

About the role

The Carlson Hotel, a four‑star property in Ikoyi, Lagos, is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will manage daily front‑office operations, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while delivering high‑quality guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, verify identification, issue room keys and process final bills at checkout.
• Handle reservations, modifications and cancellations via phone, email and in‑person, maintaining accurate room inventory.
• Respond to guest inquiries about hotel facilities, local attractions and provide concierge‑style assistance such as booking taxis or tours.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or room issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and management to prepare rooms and fulfill special requests.
• Manage secure access to rooms, handle guest valuables and follow safety and security protocols.
