Finance Business Partner – Strategic Finance Role

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will act as the bridge between Finance and operational teams at Jamara Operations Limited. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights, support strategic decision‑making, and drive profitability across production, supply chain, and retail functions.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and act as a trusted financial advisor.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and develop driver‑based financial models.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, delivering clear commentary on performance and variances.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, support investment decisions and capital expenditure business cases.
• Maintain robust financial controls, oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations and support audit processes.
• Leverage BI tools to create dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into financial and operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including 2–3 years in a Business Partnering or FP&A role, preferably within manufacturing, retail or FMCG.
• Proven ability to partner with non‑finance stakeholders and influence decisions at senior levels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
