About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead our Lagos office and drive growth across Nigeria and West Africa. You will act as the primary contact for customers, oversee a small local team, and ensure seamless installation and service of our machines and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers in Nigeria and West Africa.
- Manage and develop the on‑site team, coordinating local technicians for installations and servicing.
- Handle on‑site purchasing, including importing spare parts.
- Support the international sales team and liaise with customers for both support and new business acquisition.
- Administer commercial agendas, act as interface to the Austrian head office, and own business planning and budgeting for the Lagos site.
- Maintain quality standards to meet customer expectations.
- Travel within Nigeria and neighboring countries as required.
Required profile
- Technical and/or business education with several years of experience in both areas.
- Industry experience in bag production, fabric production, or plastic recycling is preferred.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work across Austrian and West African business contexts.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
