Floor Manager / Supervisor - Restaurant & Lounge

About the role

Simplygood Management And Services is hiring a Floor Manager/Supervisor for its restaurant and lounge in Marina, Lagos. The role covers day-to-day floor operations, staff supervision and coordination between the kitchen, bar and service team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant and lounge floor operations and ensure the floor is arranged, clean and ready for customers before opening.
• Monitor table arrangements, seating, reservations and customer flow, and make sure customers are attended to promptly.
• Coordinate activities between the kitchen, bar and service staff, and keep operations smooth during busy periods and special events.
• Conduct opening and closing floor inspections.
• Supervise waiters, waitresses, bartenders, hostesses and other floor personnel, assigning duties and work schedules.
• Monitor staff punctuality, appearance, conduct and performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards.
• Hold pre-shift briefings, identify staff training needs and recommend improvements.
• Report staff misconduct and disciplinary issues to management.

Required profile

• A minimum of 4 years of experience.
• A minimum of a degree in a related field.
