Housekeeper - Official Residence

About the role

The Housekeeper is a full-time, on-site position at The CLUUF House in Abuja. The role keeps the interior spaces clean, orderly and safe, and works closely with supervisors to follow cleaning schedules and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust and sanitize surfaces and common areas
• Handle laundry, change linens and organize storage areas
• Replenish supplies and report maintenance or safety issues
• Interact courteously with residents, guests and team members and help with basic housekeeping requests
• Support training of new team members on housekeeping procedures

Required profile

• Minimum of 2-5 years of professional housekeeping experience in official residences or diplomatic households
• Proven track record of discretion and confidentiality, with excellent references from previous employers
• Ability to lift, bend and stand for long periods

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, fabric care and surface maintenance (marble, hardwood, fine art)
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and safety practices, with willingness to learn company standards
• Attention to detail, reliability and time management with minimal supervision
